SKATE LONDON One of the coolest activities around just got better... April 2004 We joined Andreas, Joe and Marcus from London's premier skating academy who put us through our paces on the hottest day of the year so far. These professional inline skate instructors skate all around the world, and co-ordinate London's Friday Night Skate. Yep, they can definitely skate. And so can we, following our two hour session near Victoria in London. Beginners learnt how to move, stop and turn. Those who could already do that perfected going backwards, going fast and doing some other cool stuff that the rest of us can only dream of. We finished off with a game of roller-soccer - much more fun than normal soccer - so we'll be getting a team together for next time.
