[Troop B Online]
LEADERS
All good Scout Troops have one or more leaders dedicated to ensuring that the five or so years spent with us by a Scout are a worthwhile, enjoyable experience, and Troop B is no exception.

Read on for a bit about the core leadership team:
[Troop B Leaders]

Least likely to say "You lot are far too grateful"
Can be found at Outdoors, doing something dangerous

Assistant Scout Leader (ASL) Alan Cheasley

Most likely to say "I've had a brilliant idea..."
Least likely to say "I've had enough of France and Italy"
Can be found at In France or Italy in a Previa full of fine wines

ASL Matt Brookes

Most likely to say "Let's go to McD's"
Least likely to say "Being a student sucks"
Can be found at Warwick Student Union. Or McDonalds.

[Troop B Leaders]
ASL Colin Payne

Most likely to say "When I was a lad..."
Least likely to say "Just call my mobile - it's always on"
Can be found at On his luxury yacht. Currently somewhere on the south coast but we still see him from time to time!

ASL Neal Otter

Most likely to say "Let's have sausages for dinner"
Least likely to say "Let's eat something other than sausages"
Can be found at Sainsbury's. Probably near the sausages.

Not forgetting...

We also enjoy the help of Troop Assistants Naomi Neathey and Jane Cheasley, and Explorer Scouts Arran, Josh and Jonny through the year. Parents, friends and other Explorer and Network Scouts often help out with activities too. Cheers guys.

"Old Guys" - recent Troop B leaders who have moved on to pastures new!

Nick Davis
was Scout Leader at Troop B for a number of years. He moved away in May 1997 and can now be seen leading a troop in Oxfordshire.

Mark Marsh was an ASL with Troop B for a couple of years. After leaving in 1995 he returned in 1997 to run Summer Camp. He's now busy teaching geography in Kent.

Mike Severs led the troop alongside Mark Marsh, before becoming Venture Scout Leader. Mike now lives in Alton but is still a Helper with the Venture Unit, and he travelled to Switzerland with them in 1998.

Simon Davis was a helper in the mid-90's, and we still see him at the occasional camp.
